This aspect highlights the realization of the national background survey on the information systems used for the preparation of inventories and catalogs of scientific-technological equipment, developed software, regulations, procedures, etc. As well as, to evaluate alliances between technological centers, development of clusters or other forms of association whose purpose is to seek synergies between research infrastructures to promote the improvement of the competitiveness of CELAC countries according to their socio-productive specificities.

Likewise, the group prepares proposals for the development of processes that promote synergies between research groups through Open Science and Open Innovation mechanisms. And since its inception it worked on the creation of a virtual regional coordination space for the exchange of best practices, lessons learned and mechanisms for accessing research infrastructures.

In particular they stand out:

  1. Survey of national antecedents on the information systems used for the elaboration of inventories and catalogs of scientific-technological equipment, developed software, regulations, procedures, etc.
  2. Evaluate alliances between technology centers, development of clusters or other type of associativity to look for synergies between research infrastructures in order to boost the competitiveness of CELAC countries according to their socio-productive specificities.
  3. Prepare proposals for the development of processes that promote synergies between research groups through Open Science and Open Innovation mechanisms.
  4. Generate a space for the exchange of best practices, lessons learned and mechanisms for access to research, management and innovation infrastructures. Through study visits to the CELAC and EU Infrastructures, conducting seminars and workshops from which experiences and knowledge are shared.
